1. Definitions
- “We/Us/Our” refers to The Superyacht Chef Ltd..
- “You/Your” refers to the individual purchasing a place on the course.
- “Course” refers to the Professional Sushi Training Course held in London, UK.
2. Course Bookings
- Deposits are accepted to ensure your place is held until full payment is required January 20th 2026
- Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- You must be aged 18 or over to participate.
3. Fees & Payment
- The full, regular course fee is £4499 per participant.
- Fees include tuition, public liability insurance, use of equipment, and ingredients during training.
- Travel, accommodation, and personal expenses are not included.
- Final Payment must be made in full by January 20th 2026 (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- By You:
- Cancellations received more than 60 days before the start date: loss of deposit
- Cancellations received 30–59 days before: 50% refund.
- Cancellations received less than 30 days before: no refund.
- You can transfer your place in the course with no penalty. Just advise us of the change of student as soon as possible.
- By Us:
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the course in the event of insufficient enrolment, instructor illness, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to a future course.
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 14 working days.
5. Participant Requirements
- This course is designed for professional chefs with some prior experience.
- You must disclose any allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions before the course.
- You agree to follow all instructions from the instructor and staff.
6. Health & Safety
- You are responsible for your own health and safety during the course.
- You must wear appropriate clothing (including non-slip shoes).
- No alcohol or drugs may be consumed before or during sessions.
- We are not responsible for injuries caused by failure to follow instructions or unsafe behaviour.
7. Liability
- We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to your personal property.
- Our liability for any claim arising from the course shall not exceed the total fee paid.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Public liability cover is included for all students on the course for the duration of the time in the classroom.
8. Intellectual Property
- All course materials and content are the intellectual property of The Superyacht Chef or the instructor.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute materials without permission.
9. Certification
- Participants who complete the full program and pass the sushi platter exam will receive a Certificate of Completion signed by the instructor.
- Certificates will not be issued to participants who miss more than 4 days of training.
10. Governing Law
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
